The Built Environment pathway

Our 'The Built Environment' pathway is offered only as a top-up degree, with learners entering at Level 6 having already completed qualifications at levels 4 and 5.

This pathway prepares learners for advanced roles across construction. Learners develop practical skills in project planning, resource management, cost control and regulatory compliance, alongside expertise in assessing and managing building assets to ensure performance, efficiency and long-term value.

Through applied learning in strategic asset management, project management and sustainable practices, graduates are equipped to deliver projects that are safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible. The programme develops leadership, decision-making and critical evaluation skills, preparing learners to drive innovation and best practice in the evolving construction industry.
