Our degree programmes are built from 3 levels of study.

The BSc (Hons) degree offers a flexible, three-level structure designed to fit your pace:

  • Level 4: Complete this for a Certificate of Higher Education.

  • Level 5: Complete this for a Diploma of Higher Education.

  • Level 6: Final stage to achieve your full BSc Honours Degree.

Francis James' degree programme is validated by Richmond American University London (RAUL). This means that while Francis James are responsible for creating and delivering the degree programme, and setting the standards for it, RAUL has final oversight of the quality of what Francis James do. Learners who successfully complete the degree programme will receive a UK award from RAUL.

Progress to Your BSc (Hons) Degree

We are able to recognise some qualifications you have already achieved, which may allow you onto the next level of study. So, if you already have a relevant level 5 qualification and want to progress to a BSc Honours degree, you may be able to achieve this in as little as 12 months.

Certificate of Higher Education

Level 4

The Certificate of Higher Education is the first level of our BSc Honours in Construction & the Built Environment. The degree programme is validated by Richmond American University London (RAUL).

Level 5

The Diploma of Higher Education is the second level of our BSc Honours in Construction & the Built Environment. The degree programme is validated by Richmond American University London (RAUL).

BSc Honours Degree

Level 6

Level 6 is the final level of our BSc Honours in Construction & the Built Environment. The degree programme is validated by Richmond American University London (RAUL).
